NAVY AVIATION ORDNANCEMAN - AO WINGS WOOD ART

Navy Aviation Ordnancemen (AO) operate and handle Aviation Ordnance equipment. They are responsible for the maintenance of guns, bombs, torpedoes, rockets, and missiles. Their duties include the stowing, issuing, and loading of munitions and small arms.

Our Navy AO Wings Wood Art Plaque is handcrafted from 5 different fine Hardwoods. The highly detailed Wings are carved from 3 different woods.

For the Bomb itself, we selected a fine Sapele wood - known for it's beautiful grain and texture.

We made an exception and decided to use colored stain for the Flames. This pop of color on top of the rich woods used in the Wings and Bomb creates a stunning piece of unique Wood Art.
