COAST GUARD COMMAND AFLOAT Badge Wood Art

The US Coast Guard is one of the oldest organizations of the Federal Government.

The Command Afloat insignia was established specifically to recognize Commissioned and Warrant Officers who Command or have Commanded a Coast Guard Cutter successfully by keeping its crew and passengers safe while seeking to complete their mission objectives.

Our New USCG Command Afloat wood art wall hanging is made from 8 different fine hardwoods. We made a rare exception and used a touch of paint for the blue shield, strictly for visual impact.

The Wings are made from 4 different exotic woods, and features our Signature Feathered Wings, a time consuming method of creating beautiful, highly detailed Eagle Wings.

The Eagle Claws are carefully crafted from separate pieces of wood, as is the highly detailed fouled Anchor.
