CENTRAL COMMAND CENTCOM WOOD ART PLAQUE

United States Central Command (CENTCOM) is one of eleven Unified Combatant Commands of the Department of Defense.

Headquartered at Mac Dill Air Force Base, Florida, CENTCOM is responsible for protecting American security interests in the Middle East and Central Asia. The region monitored by this Command  includes Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.

Using a selection of 7 (seven) different fine hardwoods, our Artists transformed the U.S. CENTCOM Emblem into beautiful Wood Art.

The different colors are the natural colors of the different fine hardwoods, not paint or colored stains.

We Inlay the background Continents, then use 4 different woods to create the Eagle Wings.

This Wood Art plaque features our Signature Feathered Wings, a time consuming method to craft highly detailed Wings.

We used a touch of blue paint in the Shield, both as a tribute to the original and to provide contrast to the other woods.
